The title is in reference to the immortal words of my manager today to 5 little 6 year old kids. Tried to scam their way into the gym at work.
Today was one of the most tedious days of my working career, besides the odd occasion that Dave sparked up. Woke up 8:10am as per usual, ie. too late to have a shower and make it into town by 9. So i had to have a quick wash and got a coffee. Was out of the house by 8:35 and thought that i would be late. How wrong i was, i was there in 15 mins, tis getting worrying how quick i can get to work and how un-nackered i am. Infact my whole fittness level as a whole is getting better by the day, i have now started to go to work an hour early and going into the gym, and i have agreed to start training with the gym staff to do a marathon. I dont know if i will do it, but the training can't hurt.
Work was slow, there was no cricket so i couldnt watch that, it was raining all day, and most of the teams decided not to play, and there was a group that had booked out the lounge so that no1 else could go in there (they had an exam to become hockey teachers). So everyone was crowded in the hallways. Me and Dave gave up and went down the gym, watch TV, and have a light work out.
Came home, text liz, she text me, then phoned me, had a go at me, i sed that i mite aswell not speak then, so i didnt, she hung up on me and then had a go at me cuz i didnt call her back, was not a happy bunny.
Mik and [Tim] came home today, they officially are now engaged (not that they were unofficially :S), had a good meal with them round the table.
Thought of the day: Is it becoming "cool" to be "depressed"?
